Swiss Choir

The Vancouver Swiss Choir was founded in 1966 . Two ladies and twelve men were in the original group whose goal it was to present Swiss culture through song and yodel. The Annual choir Concert is one of the highlights in the Swiss community’s small. This together with participation in other events put on by the SSV, brings the well deserved recognition for the many hours of practice. The choir also participates in the pacific Coast Singing and Jodeling Festival which it hosted in 1981 with great success.

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY

If you like to sing and always wanted to sing with others, please come to one of our regular practices and try it out! This is your opportunity to join the Vancouver Swiss Choir. The choir has openings for all singers, especially tenor and bass.
